Volunteer’s outfits will be distributed!

The moment has come! The volunteers will finally get the outfits in which they are going to fulfil their tasks during the period of the EYOF. The big works start on Monday; we took a little peek before if behind the scenes.

The volunteers are part of the big family of the event since a long time, but from Monday they will get the outfits too, which nobody else will have during the one week but exclusively those, who engaged themselves to help the Organising Committee.

In the Volunteers Centre which is placed in Mobilis the preparations were huge today, the shelves were about to sink in under the vast amount of the outfits. We took a peek how the outfit distribution goes. Rudolf Pásztor, leader of the EYOF volunteers was there with for our help.

– When the volunteers applied, they gave us their clothing size, from Monday they will get the whole outfits according to that size. Firstly they will undergo their registration duties. We would like to ask everyone who attends to bring their identity papers, their identity card with themselves! Those who haven't signed their contracts yet should not be scared either, there will be an opportunity to do it and those who haven't already taken their own copy of the contract can also do it now – started Rudi.

Getting the outfits will be divided into two parts, the boys and the girls can separately try their outfit on in fitting rooms set up for this occasion. The selected garments can be taken from volunteers helping in the preparation works, who naturally are in everything to their mate's assistance.

– As we indicated before, every volunteer will get a blue t-shirt, a short, a sweatshirt and sweatpants, a pair of socks, a pair of shoes, a rucksack and a raincoat. The t-shirts and short pants for the women and the men are not unisex but they only differ in tailoring not in colour. Every EYOF volunteer will wear green-white top and grey pants during the event. We have to distribute more than 20 thousand outfits in the remaining time, we are awaiting every volunteer fondly – said Rudi smiling.

The designers of the outfit took everything into account, so the clothes will be sporty, comfortable and unique. And those who take part as a volunteer on the EYOF can save it as an eternal souvenir of course.
